Any motivated person is welcome to join!

CURRENT PROJECTS

Théo has limited motion and is in a wheelchair; he is interested in a light and transportable system to assist him putting on and taking off his sweat or T-shirt during his day. During the 2020 hackathon, multiple approaches have been investigated and 2 leads have been found promising: a clamping belt to attach and manipulate the clothes and a clever-designed gripper to manipulate clothes in his back.

Conception - Testing and verification - Texile and sewing - Usability - 3D Printing

Access to Water

This project means to develop a system to facilitate the transfer to and from the water for people with reduced mobility, to enable everyone’s access to water sports.
The current prototype, still in development, is a light system with a simple design, adaptable to various terrains, and most importantly safe and robust. This project is done in collaboration with Sport & Nature and Handisport Genève.

Do you have a project you would like to work on during one of our Living Lab session ?

Thank you for your support!
