A calming sensory mat for children

The Dr. Combe Foundation welcomes children, adolescents, and adults with specific needs, whether related to a motor impairment, with or without associated disorders, or an autism spectrum disorder.

Challenge

This project aims to design a calming sensory mat for children supported by the ASD Center. Based on an ergonomic floor mat (such as a yoga mat), this multisensory device combines gentle adjustable vibrations, sound and light effects.

The goal is to provide children with an immersive resource space to promote emotional regulation and a return to calm.
