About Paul

Paul is passionate about cycling and participated several times in the Gran Fondo World Championships. Due to an accident, he lives with incomplete tetraplegia, which affects the movement and fine motor control of his hands. Paul continues to be active and enjoys doing sports.

Challenge

Paul has difficulty opening his hands and straightening his fingers after using his wheelchair, as well as after gripping objects. This can make it difficult for him to release his wheelchair rims and to let go of objects such as cups and bottles. The goal of this challenge is to develop a simple solution that helps Paul open his hand and straighten his fingers again, with a focus on his right hand.
