About Nadja

My name is Nadja, I am 42 years old and live by the beautiful Lake Thun. My favorite animals are dolphins. I really enjoy being around people and like it when people joke with me. For many years now, I have been severely limited in movement and motor skills. I now rely 100% on support. Communication hardly works anymore either.

Challenge

Nadja has a Grid Pad for her communication, which she operates using a head button. This is becoming increasingly difficult. The goal is for Nadja to be able to engage herself independently and for others to be able to communicate with her. Even if it is only closed questions, to which one can get a clear “Yes / No / don’t know” as an answer.

Due to the difficulty in communication with Nadja, the main communication during the hackathon will be with her two close assistants Renate and Werner.
